Art and writing about the possibility of the imagination to mobilise social change and environmental activism // Through a pop and cult culture approach.
Last Thursday lots of our super friends came to The Bear in Camberwell to see our show. It was loads of fun and everyone seemed to like it which was nice. We had burgers and lotsa drinks and Rachael served honey sandwiches. I did make some good and highly appropriate CDs to play but the stupid Argos ghetto blaster wouldn't play them! But no matter, we all like to talk to each other anyway! These photos are courtesy of people with i-phones, i took some B&W on my film camera but the battery was dying so the shutter speed was very slow... we'll see when they get developed.
Thank you also to Miss Ellen Fahy for viewing my work so aesthetically in this photo!
Anyway, it was such good evening so yay! And thanks y'all for coming :) means a lot! and thank you Rachael and Ruth!
Next Thursday I am having an exhibition for one night only; a soiree if you will! I will be showing work with my pals Rachael Pilston and Ruth Pilston, and we will be playing some top tunes on the old ghetto blaster, hopefully serving honey sandwiches, and enjoying drinks from the bar at The Bear.
Be there, be interested, be fun!
There may well also be zines and artwork for sale, fun times.
