In a jar

A CD jacket i made... for a CD i made... for someone.

Just done some graphic design for a Regent Street recruitment company in Liberty House (name dropping yep) called Bain & Gray. They wanted birthday cards to send to their clients to celebrate the company's birthday.
Here's some of what I did - They used the top one in the end .

What i did today - from my dream. Sharks are asses. This is maybe some sub/unconscious conquering of any conscious paroxysms of fear i might have.

My friend Addy asked for a drawing of mine for her birthday. She requested it to include a union jack, so it does. It's big and A2 and red white and blue.. so it also rhymes.
And because i seem to love horses so much these days (so much that i'm babysitting one tomorrow night) i included one of them too. ALSO it includes a lot of love for Addy because she's the hottest hospital bed occupier i've ever seen, she always knows when 'the Foosa are coming', and she's a minx.

I think this is my favourite place in the world... and i remembered why today

Last summer I went to LA and San Francisco.

I stayed on the sea front in Venice Beach in LA below Santa Monica (Dogtown) - in the hostel wit the turquoise arches where the Z Boys from 'Lords of Dogtown' get their burgers :)

It was the most chilled place i've ever been and it was like being in the 80s - EVERYone is on rollerskates or skateboards.
At night all the punks come out and drink in their tartan and studs on the beach and the hobos mutter in corners and sleep under the skate ramps - there are so many tramps.

I met one sitting on a sand bank who made me a necklace out of wire that spelt my name for free. He was super sweet and had his wee sons with him.

If i wasn't here now i'd be in Venice Beach - everyone is happy. it's all fruit smoothies, metalheads and bodybuilders, punks, hobos, weed, spiritual healing parlours, caravans that look like circuses and palm trees.

In San Francisco everything is art everywhere and i stayed in an old converted ballroom in the red light district.
We all had super sweet parties in the ballroom every night. It was on the street next to Jack Kerouac's house.

Went to the Mission District one day - the Mexican part - all the concrete surfaces are covered in mexican murals, some are fun, some are tributes, some are preaching. all pretty beaut!

So i'm going to move to Venice Beach one day I hope :)
